Who We Are

R&R Veterans all started in September of 2018.

I was cutting grass around my relatives (and their neighbors) gravesites at a local cemetery.  I started doing some research on the neighbors because I assumed they were relatives too, since they were buried in the same area.  I had already discovered that members of the FindAGrave site could request photos of gravesite monuments.  As I was searching for a marker to fulfil a photo request, I was walking across the grass and felt something under my foot.  I immediately started digging and removing grass.  That is when I realized it was a Veteran flat marker that had been completely covered up.  There was no other marker for this Veteran, so his gravesite had basically vanished. 

As I continued to search for the requested photo, I found the gravesite.  There was only a small section of the marker visable.  I then started pulling the grass off and quickly discovered that it was yet another Veteran marker.  Which was slowly being covered with grass.
